‘hipster’ is a word middle aged ppl use to marginalize the young and innovative because they’re threatening. #scardycats

Ooohhh, @templecoffee’s Panama Lerida Estate — Sonia’s Crop is incredibly delicious #instacoffee (via Instagram, by way of an IFTTT recipe.)
Hario has a new product on the market — a scale. With a timer. Built in.
Mmm-hmmm…
Not impressed? How do I know you, again?
Anywho, Dear Coffee I Love You (a favorite site of mine) gives it a review. I’ll let you read it for the bottom-line (I’m sticking with my trusty IKEA ORDNING for right now1) but I especially loved a couple bits:
Hario knows its market (damn you!)…
Best of all, [because of the integrated timer,] you no longer need to lay your smartphone below a stream of water (freeing it up to take photos for Instagram).
And a witty, topical reference…
However, if money isn’t an issue and you feel the need to brew with [the also-reviewed] stand, go all in like Petraeus.
I do appreciate me some witty, self-aware prose.
I’m not yelling, that’s just how they roll in IKEA-land: in all-caps. ↩
“A Coffee Blog for Caffeinated Inspiration.”
Coffee. Design. Yes, please.

Home-alone roasting session. #instacoffee (via Instagram, by way of an IFTTT recipe.)
With applications for writing about coffee tasting as well. (Via @terroirism.)

Roasting scribbles. @sweetmarias Costa Rica Chirripo Los Crestones – Finca Alaska. (more at its Instagram page). (Posted by way of an IFTTT recipe.)

New 12oz. (uh, I mean) 6oz. packaging from @tonxcoffee. Very swanky. // #instacoffee (by way of an IFTTT recipe).
The latest Tonx Coffee is a drop-dead gorgeous Ethiopia with a most-surprising flavor note of mandarin orange (lemon? orange? … citrus! but it’s leaning mandarin).
Oh, and this shipment’s included literature is sparkling with witty quasi-political prose.
Just acquired one of these. “Quadrat” thermos by Arne Darnell, Sweden.
This is about the only thing I could find on it on the inter-webs.

Love these labels (via Twitter).
